The idea of this thread is to help each other out. To give each other ideas of things that we may want to avoid in our everyday life. Kind of an FYI or heads up as to things you may want to avoid such as...
Never go skinny dipping around hungry fish
Try to avoid using oil of olay for deep frying
When in the exact change lane, try to avoid stopping, getting out and asking the car behind you to change a fifty
Avoid sitting or standing next to someone wearing an I'm with stupid shirt, (unless you actually are stupid and are for some reason proud of it)
Never try to pogo stick in jello
(same goes for jumprope and hopscotch)
When high diving, never wait until you've left the diving board or platform to check and see if the pool is full.
Never play pull my finger at a baked beans eating contest.
Youi see how easy and helpful these can be, now feel free to add a few of your own.
Remember, that you are helping others and yourself at the same time

Gravy is good.
I really like sausage gravy on my biscuits (or honey or butter is good too)
Smashed taters are almost always better with a little gravy.
Which reminds me...
Never take home left over smashed taters and gravy in your pocket

Well I can state this from personal observation-
Never demonstrate the loss of kinetic energy of a bowling ball without first ensuring that no additional kinetic energy is added....
Back in high school, our physics teacher had a bowling ball suspended on a wire. He would pull the ball just up to his nose, and let go of it. The ball would swing away, and of course, as it swung back towards him, it would come close, but not hit, his face because it lost energy en route.
So we had another student try it. Now, it didn't appear to me that he moved his face forward. But maybe he did. Anyway, assuming his face was still, I guess the only way the ball could have come back and smacked him in the nose was if he gave it a little push rather than just releasing it.
Hard as it is to believe, sometimes an undesirable slips through St. X's otherwise stellar filtration system. When that happens, of course, the only remedy is to kick them out and send them to LaSalle....

What the hell happened to my post? It has links for kinetic energy and physics, I never linked them I just typed them. If Raven is doing this, STOP IT OR ELSE!!!

Hey cool, I was wondering how you did that. Let's try a few more.
chemistry
calculus
engineering
strip tease
pornography
mortgage rates
viagra
Dang it, none of those work...

Well first off, I don't know how that happened because I didn't do a thing.
And second, look at Lan trying to link to Viagra, strip tease, and porn. Hmmm....perhaps some unintended insight into his psyche?
If I knew I could do that, I'd link to things like the U.S. Coast Guard, trains, toll house cookies, Bess Meyerson, and firecrackers.
But that's just me.
